A place to join Dr. Inderbitzen LCSW on the latest in Neurodiversity and the Nervous System.
Neurodiversity Affirming Care eludes clear defintion…
1. There is no universal definition
The term ‘Neurodiversity Affirming Interventions’ (NAI’s) lacks a clear defintion. Most therapists while able to tell you they are this, fail to be able to clearly articulate what that means. We make no such claims here, the only good guru, is the one who tells you that you don’t need a guru.
2. This work is unequivoally Interpersonal Neurobiology
While we aren’t offering to be your guru, we are home to Dr. Inderbitzen’s Interpersonal Neurobiology (INPB) perspective on his Polyvagal Model of Autism, described in his work Autism In Polyvagal Terms. We make no claims to be the authority on what NAI’s are but we will offer questions and considerations regarding topics on Autism and the Autonomic Nervous System from a polyvagal perspective.
3. So why join?
Dr. Inderbitzen LCSW will share perspectives on things to consider and question about the neurodiversity movement from an INPB lens. By joining you will get access to early release content from his upcoming works. Inderbitzen likes to have a back and forth conversation with his audience, so it may be a challenge. Think ‘tag Dr Inderbitzen on Instagram or LinkedIn in your own example of a neural exercise ’ to be entered for a free hour long consultation with Dr. Inderbitzen. We try to keep engagement dynamic so be ready for things like giveaways, early releases of tools, answes to commonly asked questions about Autism and the Autonomic Nervous System and more.
We try to keep it interesting over here.
